WAREHOUSE DRIVER / ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for transporting, staging, loading, and unloading of finished product, raw materials and other items.  Assist in stocking and maintenance of warehouse inventory.  Ability to work with little supervision, communicate issues to their supervisor, demonstrates accountability and responsibility. This position reports to Warehouse Supervisor.

 

1. Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc.)
2. Stage finished product for loading. 
3. Load finished product. 
4. Unload raw materials and other items.
5. Move raw materials to warehouse storage. 
6. Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters. 
7. Responsible for observing quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in. 
8. Operate within established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
9. Operate vans, cars, trucks (light to heavy) and current B license.
10. Complete daily logs for all warehouse vehicles.
11. Assist in preventive maintenance (PMs) on vans, cars, trucks (light to heavy). 
12. Assist in maintaining a clean work area, office, yard and building premises. 
13. Turn off and lock out equipment, tools and other warehouse items when not in use.
14. Assist with securing the building, equipment, stocks and other valuable items.
15. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

MUST POSSESS A CHAUFFER'S LICENSE (B)
