SUMMARY

Responsible for receiving orders, verifying invoices, stocking parts in warehouse and delivering parts to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following:

• Receives incoming shipments. Verifies shipping invoice with actual received goods to ensure order is complete. Forwards shipping documents to Inventory Control Clerk.
• Stock parts in the appropriate section of the warehouse.
• Pull parts from stock and deliver parts to customer at counter.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
• Report all overages and shortages to Parts Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Assist in preparing and performing of the annual parts inventory.
• Operate a forklift – certification a plus!
• Participate in all safety and training programs that are made available.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.  Previous warehouse experience and experience in selling automotive spare parts is preferred as well as knowledge in Parts Inventory Control/Invoicing Software. Able to communicate effectively to customers or employees.  Ability to read and comprehend documents such as regulations, policies and procedures.  Must be attentive and able to work under pressure.  Must have a valid driver`s license and good driving record. Forklift certification preferred, but not required.
