JWS Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Ltd. is actively seeking for HVAC/R Senior Technicians with the following job description and qualification:

Senior HVAC/R Technician Job Description:

The candidate must be experienced in servicing complete HVAC/R systems maintenance, repair and replacement for all HVAC/R systems conforming to manufactures preventive maintenance programs.  This includes Chilled Water, DX, and all supporting equipment and systems such as pumps, controls, walk in coolers, commercial freezers, duct systems, and hydronic heating systems.

Able to analyze and perform necessary repairs/maintenance related to controls, mechanical failures, motors, drives, manufacturers preventative maintenance, air balancing, brazing, refrigerant handling, etc., able to operate related measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments.

Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and service various types of HVAC/R chiller equipment:

•              Oil-less compressor up to 300+ tons

•              Package units up to 75 tons (reciprocating/screw)

•              Built-up systems up to 200 tons

•              VAV systems

•              Pumps, boilers

Qualifications:

•              5-10+ years of commercial air conditioning experience

•              Experience servicing both water- and air-cooled chillers

•              Technical guidance and direction to other mechanics

•              Knowledge of chilled water applications

•              Knowledge of Electrical/Pneumatic/Variable frequency drives

•              Installation, Diagnose, Service, Troubleshoot & Repair

•              Universal Refrigeration Licenses (i.e., EPA 608 Universal)

•              Valid driver`s license in good standing

•              Must own tools of the trade

COMPANY SERVICE VEHICLE will be provided to the Technician and after 4 years of continuous employment, will be given to the tech as part of the incentive
