CASHIER (PART TIME)

The Cashier is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments received from customers and other transactions from various departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must be able to operate the cash register and credit card machine.
2. Must be trustworthy and able to handle cash and balance funds accordingly.
3. Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information both written and orally.
4. Must be attentive, organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task under pressure.
5. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
6. Must be flexible, able to use good judgment, and exercise discretion and confidentiality in work performance.
7. Must be punctual and presentable on a daily basis.
8. Must maintain excellent attendance.
9. Verify against cash on hand
10. Performs other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1 year cashier experience.
3. Proficient in the use of computers.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Professional appearance. 
6. Valid Guam driver`s license is required. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
