Objectives of this Position

  1. Ensuring smooth and efficient store operations.
  2. Adhere to sales processes and policies for excellence and quality customer service.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of products sold in-store.
  4. Building and maintaining customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  1. Greet, welcome, and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Listen to customers' needs and provide expert product advice and recommendations.
  3. Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively in a friendly and polite manner, without allowing emotions to take over.
  4. Establish friendly customer relationships with regular customers.
  5. Handle returns and exchanges of merchandise when appropriate.
  6. Always team-up with co-workers to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Product Knowledge:

  1. Stay informed about the products available in the store, including over-the-counter medications and cosmetics.
  2. Provide accurate information to customers about product uses, side effects, and precautionary measures.
  3. Utilize Web to Store and Store to Home and other integrated retail processes as methods to enhance customers` shopping experience.

Cash Handling:

  1. Follow cash-handling policies and procedures to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide exact change.
  2. Maintain cash register and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  3. Follow cash handling policies and procedures.

Store Maintenance:

  1. Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  2. Perform regular shelf and product checks to ensure accurate pricing and product availability.
  3. Assist in the receiving and stocking of merchandise.

Compliance:

  1. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
  2. Always maintain confidentiality regarding customer information.

Position Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  3. Knowledge of Point of Sale (PoS) systems.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Basic math skills for cash handling.
  7. Knowledge of over-the-counter medications and health products is a plus.
  8. Knowledge of inventory control a plus.
  9. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends is desired.
