Seafix, Incorporated is seeking individuals who are self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally to join our team as:



  • At least 18 years old and in good physical condition;

  • High School graduate;

  • Must be able to obtain DOD (Department of Defense) security clearance;

  • Prior experience and/or skill set in any of the following disciplines:


  • Must have basic knowledge in performing maintenance on machineries and auxiliary equipment;

  • Must have practical experience in automotive, heavy equipment or marine engine repair;

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot;

  • Ability to conduct equipment maintenance schedule.


  • Understands basic electrical concepts;

  • Must be able to perform electrical equipment isolation;

  • Must have knowledge in shipboard electrical safety procedures.


  • Must have basic knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, diodes and transformers.


  • Ability to perform estimation and prevention of metal deterioration;

  • Ability to perform surface preparation utilizing preservation tools;

  • Understands paint schedule and coating application.

•Should possess basic computer aptitude and be familiar with MSWord, MS Excel or similar programs;

•Good organizational, planning and prioritization skills;

•Good oral and written communication skills;

•Experience with budgeting and purchasing process is preferred;

•Knowledge of military inventory systems will be extremely useful but is not essential.


Preventative maintenance job duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning; inspecting and replacing fuel filters and water separators; obtaining fuel and lube oil samples; testing engine emergency stop and overspeed devices, test operating generator engines; test operating ramps; lubricating fittings; testing pressure switches and alarm circuits; cleaning, inspecting and lubricating valves; inspecting hoses; cleaning and inspecting ventilation dampers; flushing and inspecting drains; test operating air compressors; removing and stowing dehumidifier units; cleaning, inspecting and lubricating mechanical jacks; fresh water wash downs; routine oil changes; fluid changes; battery inspections, electrical system testing, as detailed on the maintenance log sheets.
