Description:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Japanese Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives targeting the Japanese market. This role will involve developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving revenue growth for the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Guam hospitality market and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract guests and corporate clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and tour operators.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create tailored promotional campaigns for the Japanese market.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the hotel`s internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Native or fluent in Japanese and proficient in English.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong network within the Japanese market, particularly with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of Japanese business culture and etiquette is essential.
