The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department, including managing the team, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are impeccably clean. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for hospitality, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and manage a team of housekeepers, room attendants, and laundry staff.
• Plan and assign daily cleaning tasks, ensuring all guest rooms, suites, and public areas are cleaned to hotel standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are consistently met.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs with professionalism and promptness.
• Implement and maintain housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Monitor departmental expenses and manage the housekeeping budget effectively.
• Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new housekeeping staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping best practices, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
