Description:

The Front Desk Manager will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, manage a team of front desk agents, and ensure that every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a knack for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient check-in/check-out processes, guest services, and concierge duties.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
  • Monitor room availability, rates, and room assignments to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Implement and maintain front desk policies, procedures, and standards to ensure exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, sales, etc.) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
  • Assist in hiring, on boarding, and training new front desk staff.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Manager or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
