LABORER

The Laborer is expected to perform essential physical tasks to support assigned construction projects, including site preparation, material handling, operating hand/power tools, and assisting skilled tradespeople. The laborer is essential in environmental cleanup, frequently working in strenuous conditions and in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Clean and prepare construction sites by removing hazardous materials, debris, and obstacles.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using wheelbarrows, carts, or dollies.
• Assisting skilled workers: Support carpenters, masons, plumbers, and electricians with tasks.
• Equipment Operation: Use a variety of tools and machinery, including saws, drills, grinders, jackhammers, and basic heavy equipment.
• Physical Labor: Dig trenches, backfill holes, compact earth, and load/unload heavy materials.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards, to maintain a safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have full physical ability as it relates to essential functions of your job.
• May be required to lift up to 100 pounds, stand, walk, climb, and perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions as it relates to assigned job duties.
• Must be reliable with strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior construction site experience is a plus.
• A valid driver's license is required if operating specific equipment is an essential function of your job assignment
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• Teamwork is essential with the ability to work effectively with the project workforce. 
• Safety Mindset is essential with the knowledge of or willingness to learn OSHA safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to work fulltime which may include weekends.
