Are you reliable, physically fit, and enjoy working outdoors? We are seeking a Driver Helper to assist our waste collection drivers with the safe and timely pickup of residential and commercial trash and recyclables.

DRIVER HELPER      

Starting Rate:  $11.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Ride along designated routes with the collection truck
• Assist the driver with the collection, loading, and emptying of garbage and recycling bins into the truck
• Ensure proper handling of all waste containers, following safety and sanitation procedures
• Communicate clearly with driver and customers as needed
• Clean up debris or spills around containers and collection areas
• Support the team in maintaining a safe and efficient operation

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to perform physical work (lift up to 50 lbs, walk long distances, and work in varying weather)
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends & over 10 hour shifts
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work well in a team environment
• Prior experience in waste management or labor-intensive work is a plus but not required
