This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and directs all activities in the facility necessary to operate and support a warehouse at maximum efficiency. The Warehouseman/Driver will perform a variety of administrative as well as physical functions to ensure the timely and accurate loading and unloading of commodities that transit the warehouse. This position will collaboratively work with the team and staff to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and controls are maintained within the warehouse and subject to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
 

• Responsibility for Warehouse Floor person / Driver 

  • Manages inventory levels to ensure crews have material to meet installation needs, maintaining cycle count accuracy (scrap/adjustments/variance/loss reduction)
  • Meet or exceeds turn goals by balancing inventory levels to ensure targeted demand is fulfilled.
  • Load materials and deliver to jobsites safety.
  • Maintaining construction crew vehicles and warehouse vehicles.
  • Review weekly vehicle inspection reports.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports to department head.
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings to share updates, resolve issues and suggest opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Control inventory accuracy.
  • Other duties and responsibilities consistent with operational goals and as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of detail management.
  • Continuously meet and develop internal standards for all warehouse, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Provide weekly inventory report by project.
  • Purchase following best value principles.

• Manages auditable records including but not limited to packing slips, pick lists, warehouse safety audits, etc., ensuring documents are easily retrievable on demand

• Meets or exceeds spend targets as it relates to variable and fixed costs for the warehouse facility via systems currently in place, and/or works with appropriate staff to establish new systems of measurement

• Establishes and controls handling and storage plans and procedures

• Schedules maintenance for install and audit vehicles where appropriate

•  Ensures the security and proper management of the warehouse equipment and materials received and stored

• Maintain maintenance compliance for forklifts and moving equipment for proper functioning and maintenance

• Oversee receiving and verification freight against receiving documentation, noting discrepancies and/or damage and report findings

•  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A minimum of One to Three years relevant warehouse experience 

•  Inventory planning systems experience a plus

• Material planning a plus

• Must be highly organized and process-oriented

• Possess strong problem-solving skills related to people and inventory

• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

•  Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required

• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

• Must have a valid Guam driver`s license and B license 

• Must have a clean driving record.
