Job Details

We are seeking a qualified Safety Engineer to support our Yona Solar Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety programs on the project site to ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce health and safety policies and procedures at the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Support the development and implementation of site safety plans, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions for project staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company safety standards.
• Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports.
• Work closely with project management and field teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk management practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant safety certifications (OSHA, CHST, CSP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
