Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Design scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Anticipate, plan and deliver IT solutions that support enterprise strategic goals and enable increased business value.
Own end-to-end solution design for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementation.
Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
Design and implement integrations using:
Provides Solution architecture to various projects in adherence to the overall Sales and Service Strategy and Roadmap
Works with Enterprise Architects, Solution and product owners to develop detailed technical architecture patterns for Salesforce initiatives.
Experience in both Build and Run projects desirable
Demonstrate functional integration with business users documenting requirements, functional specifications, functional/regression/UAT testing.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team that consists of onshore/offshore resources, including both contractors and FTE's
Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Drive adoption of best practices, reusable frameworks, and standards.
8-12 years of salesforce development or related experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Strong expertise in:
Proven experience in solution design and architecture
Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs
Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong technical experience working on large SFDC implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Conga (Apttus) CLM.
Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope
Projects may have significant and long-term impact
Provides solutions which may set precedent
Independently determines method for completion of new projects
Receives guidance on overall project objectives
Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300
