Residential Supervisor - Part Time

Salary Range $14.00 - $15.00 Hourly

Overview

The Residential Supervisor is responsible for supervising shelter operations including ensuring the safety of participants, house inspections, inventory maintenance, and supervising Residential Assistants, and ensuring compliance with Department of Public Health and Social Services licensure regulations.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for Residential Assistants work schedules to include taking account for any foreseeable overtime issues;
• Fill in as needed for any shifts that need coverage on an emergency and non-emergency basis;
• Model appropriate behavior for staff and residents/clients;
• Conduct shelter inspection (indoors and outdoors) ensuring compliance with Department of Public Health and Social Services licensure regulations;
• Responsible for ensuring that all documents to include police, traffic, court, BOSSA clearance, B/G drivers license and health certificates are up to date for all staff and submitted to the Human Resources Department;
• Work closely with the Case Manager and Crisis Manager in monitoring and facilitating life skills instructions, ensuring resident/client carry out their ISP goals;
• Conducts supervision on probationary and annual staff evaluations;
• Provide orientation of shelter policies and procedures to staff and participants;
• Ensure intake process of residents/clients are conducted according to policies and procedures;
• Oversee and review all documentation and conduct training as needed for residential staff;
• Case Managers, Crisis Manager, and Residential Assistants in crisis intervention 24 hrs/day as needed;
• Maintain food and supply inventories and coordinate weekly shopping for the shelter;
• Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare; and Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma is required.
