Access Control Specialist

Are you passionate about security and looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Chenega Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Access Control Specialist to join our team.

This is an on-call opening to fill shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Ensure the safety and security of personnel and property by managing access control systems.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
• Conduct regular security checks and inspections.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Previous experience in security or access control is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and Outlook
