ITTConnect is seeking an

IT Program Manager

to work for one of our clients. This is a new contract position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the Utilities/Energy sector.

Job location

Columbus, OH.

Job may be hybrid, 3-4 days a week onsite as needed.

The

Program Manager

will oversee and coordinate the delivery of several initiatives under way at our client. Some of these are related to Process Intelligence, Identity Access Management upgrades, Ariba purchasing, and RPA implementation. This role will ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams while maintaining Senior Executive visibility through steering committees and executive-level presentations.

More than experience in Utilities, this Program Manager should have a good understanding of

Supply Chain processes

operations, tools and workflows

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate Program Delivery for several work streams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Create & maintain comprehensive program and process documents to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with established project governance.
  • Coordinate IT, Business Unit (BU), and vendor review meetings, ensuring effective follow-ups on action items and progress.
  • Track and coordinate the progress of the client's tasks and activities.
  • Report projects and Program status to the Executive team in order to assess risks, issues, and impediments.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and strategies for resolution.
  • Promote continuous improvement activities within the project team to enhance quality and optimize value delivery.
  • Establish regular cadence for meeting with the teams to monitor progress

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Program and Project management, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
  • Quick learner and gets familiar with program vision.
  • Ability to conduct Executive-level meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Experience with supply chain operations, processes, tools, methodologies and workflows.
  • Experience working with implementation vendors.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall, Scrum/Agile principles and Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and strong communicator (written and verbal).
  • Experience with managing a cross functional team that includes both full-time and part-time team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with project documentation and management tools, such as Jira, is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage risks effectively.
  • Experience in Utilities would be a plus.
