BWC's core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC's seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.
What You'll Be Doing:
We are seeking a dynamic Web Content & Communications Manager to lead the creation, management, and distribution of content across BWC's digital platforms, including our public website, intranet (The Hub), and social media channels. This role is critical in shaping BWC's online presence, ensuring compliance, and driving engagement through strategic communication initiatives.

Knowledge of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC) policies & procedures,* Ohio Ethics Law,* audio/visual concepts & techniques; workforce development; public relations; written, print & electronic (including social media) communications technology & techniques; supervisory principles & techniques; computer environment system hardware & software; electronic data processing (e.g. HTML, CSS).
Skill in operation of personal computer; applicable software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office Products Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint; Adobe Creative Cloud Apps), PiWik, Acquia, Innovate Ohio Platform (IOP)* analytical & research skills; creative thinking & conceptualization; good verbal & written communication skills; active listening.
