We are currently seeking a Driver & Warehouse Associate to add to our Goyette Mechanical Service Division in the Greater Columbus area. This role would support daily operations across our warehouse and field job sites in Central Ohio. This position splits time between general HVAC warehouse assistance, including assisting with material handling, logistics, safely driving and delivering piping, equipment, tools, and materials using company vehicles.
Specifically, we are looking for reliable, motivated, local candidates to be part of a great team. This role would be an excellent for someone looking towards a future career in the Trades. This is a full-time, non-union, hourly position with benefits. Job duties are in the Greater Columbus, Ohio area.
Warehouse Duties
Driving
18 years of age or older. Valid Driver's License with clear or acceptable driving record per pre-employment background check. Ability to be insurable under company driving policies. Must be able to lift 5075 lbs frequently. Experience driving commercial vans, pickup/trailer combinations or box trucks. Basic computer skills for receiving, inventory, and warehouse tracking software.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC materials is a plus. Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained). Experience working for a mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, or MEP contractor. Familiarity with construction materials, inventory systems, and jobsite processes. Prior DOT-regulated driving experience, intrastate or interstate. Valid CDL, Class A or B. Proficient computer skills for receiving, inventory, and warehouse tracking software.
