Profleet Parts Counter Sales

ProFleet Heavy Duty supplies all-makes commercial truck parts, located at 1219 Harmon Ave., Columbus, OH 43223. ProFleet is currently looking to hire a qualified Parts Counter Salesperson- learn more about the position below and apply today!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist all customers both retail and shop in selecting required parts. Share the cost and availability of the parts.
• Inform customer of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Participates in the coordination of orders being pulled and filled from the warehouse to their customer.
• Provides information to Parts Manager and Buyer on out-of-stock products.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source.
• Follows up on back-ordered parts.
• Solicits assigned accounts by phone or email.
• Participates in all training programs made available in order to keep current on new products and product updates.
• Maintains professional appearance

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent required with basic knowledge of truck/auto components.

• Excellent communication skills and must speak English.
• High school business math.
• Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer.
• General mechanical aptitude.

• Must be able to carry 10 to 50 pounds.
