Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment for an Administrative Secretary - Special Education Department.

This is a 12-month position.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Secretarial office experience preferred, including general desktop publishing and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with a wide range of office equipment.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with accuracy and proper use of grammar.
  • Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Respectful and collaborative approach when working with peers.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations.
  • Aptitude for working effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse populations.
  • Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, positive, and respectful climate.
