Security Officer

This position involves working directly under an Account Manager or Branch Manager, focused on protecting and securing assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard the interests of clients, ensuring the safety of employees and guests.
• Monitor for signs of crime or disturbances and investigate any incidents.
• Create and submit daily reports detailing observations and occurrences.
• Conduct patrols as specified by post orders.
• Manage access to properties in accordance with established guidelines.
• Alert appropriate authorities during emergency situations as per post directives.
• Report any infraction of company policy as well as local and federal laws according to the Employee Handbook.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Willingness to stand for long periods.
• Availability to work extended hours as required.
• Additional tasks may be assigned by clients based on specific site needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Capable of maintaining a safe environment for officers, clients, vendors, and employees.
• Strong skills in dealing with the public tactfully.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain state-required licensing.
• Physical capability to fulfill job requirements.
• Must be physically fit to walk and stand for extended durations.
• Able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Applications from military veterans and former law enforcement officers are encouraged.
