Position Summary: The Pool Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and executing a high-quality, efficient concession operation during the outdoor pool season. This role ensures food safety, speed of service, and a positive member experience in a fast-paced summer environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items including grilled and fried foods
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Ensure proper food storage and temperature control
• Open and close grill station daily
• Monitor inventory and communicate ordering needs
• Minimize waste and control portions
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Support concession operations during peak times
• Follow all JCC policies and kosher requirements as applicable

Concession hours of operation

• Monday-Thursday: 11:00am - 8:00pm
• Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
• Sunday: 11:00am - 8:00pm
• Closed Saturdays

Evening and Sunday availability required.

• Prior grill or line cook experience required
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices
• Ability to work outdoors in summer conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance throughout entire season
