Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility OhioHealth Grant, 111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215 to be eligible to apply. • Location: Riverside Methodist Hospital • Position: ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist • Shift: 5x8's Mon-Fri 0800-1630 (may need to start early/stay later depending on need); no weekends or call MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (4038): • 2 years of experience • Associate's Degree Radiography • ARRT (Radiation Therapy) • BLS • OH License Duties: Administers Radiation Therapy treatments; Maintains daily record of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages and calculations and other necessary treatment records; Performs simulations, acquires treatment parameters, patient contours and dose calculations; Maintains patient schedules for In-Patients and Out-Patients communicates frequently with families and hospital personnel to maintain schedule coordination and accommodate patients as best as possible; Monitors patient Condition and progress on a daily basis. i.e., patient weighs, skin care, reaction, etc.; Assists Radiation Oncologist in performance of Brachytherapy procedures. outpatient department in the hospital and we also treat inpatients. Outpatients come to us for their radiation treatments or the transport team will transport inpatients to our department. We have 3 Linear Accelerators (2 True Beam and 1 Halcyon). We treat patients from 8am-4:30pm and average about 80-90 treatments per day. We do 3D, IMRT, SRS & SBRT treatments. We also have 2 CT scans that are staffed by Radiation Therapists for their Simulation Appointments. Currently only one Ct scan is staffed by RTTs, the second one is utilized for add-ons and contrast CT scans. We average 6-7 CT Scan appointments per day. We have 5 Radiation Oncologists in the department that also see patients between 8am-4:30pm for Consults, Follow Ups and On-Treatment-Visits. We are a comprehensive team of Radiation Therapists, Nurses, PSA, Rad Onc MDs, Dosimetrists and Physicists.
