Position Overview

A Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role oversees budgets, schedules, contracts, teams, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Planning
2. Lead multiple high-value or complex construction projects.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones.
4. Define scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
5. Oversee pre-construction activities including estimating and value engineering.

1. Budget & Cost Management
2. Develop and manage project budgets.
3. Monitor cost controls and forecasting.
4. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and subcontractor payments.
5. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

1. Contract & Risk Management
2. Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
3. Ensure compliance with contract terms and regulatory requirements.
4. Identify and mitigate project risks.
5. Manage claims and dispute resolution processes.

1. Team & Stakeholder Management
2. Lead project managers, site managers, engineers, and support staff.
3. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and executives.
5. Conduct regular progress meetings and reporting.

1. Scheduling & Quality Control
2. Develop and maintain master construction schedules.
3. Monitor progress and adjust timelines as needed.
4. Ensure quality standards and inspection processes are met.
5. Enforce safety standards and compliance with OSHA or local regulations.

1. Site Oversight
2. Conduct site visits to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.
3. Resolve technical and operational issues promptly.
4. Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
