Lift Truck Operator - Columbus, OH - First Shift

We are hiring for a First Shift Lift Truck Operator (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) to provide quality material handling to support operations and achieve growth. This position will be reporting to the Facility Manager and will occasionally require weekends, holidays, and overtime. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars
• Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records
• Serve our customers through providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience operating lift truck attachments.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment
• Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed
• Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork
• Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled
• Positive, clear, and professional communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Must be willing and able to slide, push, or pull cases up to 60 pounds
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
