Scheduler

The Scheduler plays a vital role in advancing critical engineering and sciences initiatives by developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules. Utilizing expertise in project controls, the Scheduler will ensure the successful delivery of cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules. This position involves working closely with various teams to provide consistent and accurate information that supports project goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all Primavera project schedule and cost-related updates throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
  • Interface with engineering, construction, planning, project management, and other transmission partners to verify updated Primavera schedule, resource, and cost information.
  • Conduct and lead project schedule baseline review meetings with team members.
  • Analyze project progress and make recommendations regarding forecasted costs.
  • Maintain estimated costs in Primavera.
  • Perform final project assessments to ensure compliance with PCG standards.
  • Assist in developing metrics and measures for the TE&PS project portfolio.
  • Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure planning, engineering, construction, and project management follow PLMP processes.
  • Mentor and train less experienced Schedulers.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in scheduling and project controls, specifically using Primavera.
  • Three to seven years of experience in scheduling or project controls within the construction industry.
  • Experience interfacing with engineering, construction, planning, and project management.
  • Strong analytical skills for cost forecasting and project progress analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business.
  • Experience developing project control standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with metrics and measures for project portfolios.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a quiet engineering office where business casual attire is the standard dress code. Teamwork is highly encouraged and frequently occurs.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $35.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
