The job details are as follows: The IT Systems Administrator Intern (AV & Collaboration Focus) will support the Integrated Internal Services (IIS) team by assisting with day-to-day Audio/Visual (AV) operations, live and hybrid events, collaboration technologies, building hardware, and inventory management. This role is hands-on and campus-focused, providing an excellent opportunity for an intern to gain practical experience supporting enterprise collaboration tools and live event technology at the Dublin campus.
This position is designed to grow foundational IT, AV, and service management skills while working alongside senior engineers and infrastructure partners.
We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator for our internship program. Full time in Summer and part-time during the school year (up to 15 hours/week). This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days in-office at our headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities Audio/Visual & Event Support - Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of AV equipment for in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings and events at the Dublin campus
- Provide on-site support for live internal events, including conferences, town halls, training sessions, and recordings (under supervision)
- Support conference rooms, auditoriums, and collaboration spaces by ensuring displays, microphones, cameras, control systems, and digital signage are functioning correctly
- Assist with basic video recording and content preparation for internal use
Collaboration Technology - Support collaboration platforms and room technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, conferencing peripherals)
- Help test, document, and provide feedback on new collaboration technologies and room upgrades
- Assist users with basic troubleshooting related to meetings, AV peripherals, and collaboration tools during live sessions
Building Hardware & Campus Technology - Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of building-related technology hardware (AV racks, room PCs, signage players, control panels)
- Perform routine checks of AV-enabled spaces to proactively identify and report issues
- Help with hardware moves, additions, and changes related to conference rooms and event spaces
Inventory & Service Management - Assist with tracking AV and collaboration hardware inventory, both physically and within ServiceNow
- Help update asset records, validate equipment locations, and support lifecycle management activities
- Create and update basic documentation related to equipment standards, room configurations, and support processes
IT Support & Documentation - Provide entry-level troubleshooting support for hardware and software issues related to AV, endpoints, and peripherals
- Assist senior engineers with incident and request fulfillment through ServiceNow, following documented workflows and SLAs
- Contribute to knowledge base articles, quick-reference guides, and SOPs for AV and collaboration support
Learning Opportunities - Exposure to enterprise AV systems, live event production, and collaboration technologies
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, asset management, and operational reporting
- Mentorship from experienced IIS team members and collaboration with infrastructure and facilities partners

Required Qualifications - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, Media Technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in Audio/Visual technology, live events, and collaboration tools
- Basic understanding of computers, peripherals, and common collaboration platforms
- Willingness to work on-site at the Dublin campus and provide hands-on support
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar collaboration platforms
- Experience with basic video/audio equipment (cameras, microphones, mixers) or live event support (academic, volunteer, or personal projects)
- Exposure to ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Interest in documentation, process improvement, and learning enterprise IT operations
Scope Clarification (Intern-Level) This role is
supportive and developmental in nature. The intern will not be responsible for independently leading events, managing vendors, or owning production strategy. All work will be performed under the guidance of senior IIS team members, with responsibilities increasing as skills and confidence grow.
