ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a senior-level Technical Architecture Specialist to support accessibility-related initiatives and the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing web-based systems within the General Government Delivery Center environment. This role supports enterprise applications used across government programs and requires strong independent execution alongside collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.
The position reports to a project manager and works closely with application developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead development efforts for complex web-based applications.
• Design and implement user interface, business logic, database, and reporting components.
• Ensure accessibility functionality through proper HTML and CSS implementation.
• Propose database designs and coordinate approval with database administrators.
• Support data migration activities from existing databases.
• Develop application components using VB.Net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, XML, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server.
• Utilize Visual Studio for development activities.
• Adhere to established coding, database, and documentation standards.
• Use Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, testing coordination, and documentation versioning.
• Estimate development effort and timelines for assigned work.
• Provide regular status updates to the project manager.
• Perform unit and regression testing and resolve identified defects.
• Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to IT staff.
