Payroll/Accounting Specialist Pay $60-65k Onsite in Westerville, OH.

Payroll & Benefits

• Processing payroll for all of employees, non-union, all in Ohio.
• Process accurate and timely payroll
• Approximately 60% salaried / 40% hourly
• No commission calculations required (only data entry)
• Add new hires and enter proper tax information
• Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and changes
• Manage employee benefits
• Add / remove employees from benefit plans (terminations & new enrollments)
• Manage benefit changes
• Maintain knowledge of tax laws and payroll compliance

Accounting Support

• Post payroll to the general ledger
• Reconcile payroll liability GL accounts monthly
• Prepare journal entries related to payroll and benefits
• Process and reimburse payables related to company properties
• May touch the accounting system as needed for reporting or entries
