Under the direction of the Service Manager successful candidates are responsible for the efficient functioning of the front desks at the Dublin Community Outdoor Pools; North and South. Please note that the front desk areas are indoors, covered and air-conditioned.

Scheduling/Availability

  • The scheduling process is flexible with a variety of shifts available
  • The nature of this position may require the successful candidate to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Successful candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
  • Some availability is required during the week of May 18th to complete mandatory compliance and onboarding training. Training time is paid.

Examples of Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Cash register operation and balancing at close
  • Extensive computer use
  • Answering phone calls and questions professionally and appropriately
  • Making announcements over the public address system in a professional manner
  • Keeping an up-to-date file of daily admission passes
  • Informing your supervisor of any problems needing special attention
  • Communicating with the staff on duty when attention is needed in restrooms or elsewhere on the grounds
  • Assisting with program registration
Typical Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 17 years of age by May 23, 2026
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and deal courteously with the public
  • Must be willing to work diligently and conscientiously when dealing with work schedule and responsibilities
