What will you do as a Jewelry Polisher at Diamond Cellar?
A Jewelry Polisher is responsible for finishing and polishing fine jewelry pieces to the highest quality standards. This role ensures each piece meets the company's craftsmanship and quality expectations before reaching the sales floor or the client. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, steady hand coordination, and experience working with precious metals and gemstones in a fast-paced production or repair environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Polish, buff, and clean jewelry pieces to achieve a consistent and high-quality finish.
• Remove scratches, file rough edges, and restore shine to fine jewelry made from gold, platinum, silver, and other metals.
• Work with polishing wheels, compounds, ultrasonic cleaners, steamers, and other finishing equipment.
• Inspect jewelry for defects or damage and communicate issues to the Shop Manager or designated jeweler.
• Ensure all pieces are properly handled, cleaned, and labeled throughout the process.
• Maintain polishing tools, equipment, and workstations for safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures for handling precious metals and stones.
• Support the team as needed with cleaning, assembly, and final inspection tasks.
What are we looking for in a Jewelry Polisher?
• 1-3 years of jewelry polishing, bench work, or related fine metal finishing experience, a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Steady hand coordination and precision.
• Knowledge of jewelry materials, metals, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a production or repair environment.
• Ability to work with small, delicate components for extended periods
