Warehouse Associate I

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Shift Schedule:

  • Sunday: 2:30 PM until work is complete
  • Monday - Thursday: 4:30 PM until work is complete
  • Overtime required as needed
Location: Onsite

Important Operational Note

We are currently building out a new refrigeration setup within the facility. During this transition, operations will temporarily run on a modified conveyor system that does not fully route totes automatically. Temporary staff will manually handle totes and scan them to determine proper warehouse placement.

This is a hands-on, physically active role requiring attention to detail and accuracy.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for performing a variety of distribution center duties, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, inventory support, and outbound shipping. This role ensures customer orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

In a fully automated, PkMS-enabled environment, associates must effectively utilize warehouse management system functions to complete daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Stocking
  • Verify incoming merchandise against receiving documents
  • Identify, document, and report discrepancies or damages
  • Stock shelves with received merchandise
  • Rotate inventory to ensure proper product usage sequence
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
  • Pick items from shelves and place them into totes for shipment
  • Accurately prepare and process outbound customer orders
  • Scan totes and determine proper warehouse location during temporary conveyor operations
  • Support outbound shipping activities
Inventory & Returns
  • Process returns and performs required data entry
  • Return merchandise to appropriate warehouse locations
  • Perform daily counts and research discrepancies
  • Assist with inventory procedures and participate in physical inventory
Compliance & Safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and DEA regulations
  • Maintain appropriate attendance standards
  • Demonstrate understanding of overall distribution center workflow
  • Work with minimal supervision when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand English for comparing product descriptions and shelf labels
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and exercise good judgment
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
  • Must be a team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse totes
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout shift
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment
