Position Description Summary: Responsible for providing shipping and receiving needs for the department and purchasing items for the maintenance department. This includes ordering of stock and non-stock items, processing of routine forms, reports and documents in accordance with policy.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with co-workers, subordinates, and those of higher authority
  • Excellent radio and phone skills etiquette
  • Ship and receive all supplies and parts
  • Purchase maintenance parts and supplies
  • Distribute parts and packages to appropriate persons or department
  • Maintain cleanliness of parts department and parts storage bins and lockers
  • Maintain purchase order and inventory records

The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Working Environment and Essential Functions

Essential Functions: Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Knowledge and Skills: This is an entry-level position. Solid interpersonal and analytical skills required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Generally prefer 0-2 years of related experience.
