Job Summary

As a Tire Sales and Service Specialist, you will assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, install and repair tires correctly, complete necessary tire bay documentation, and maintain tire bay policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install tires properly, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
  • Dispose of tires correctly and manage propane tank filling per club policy.
  • Keep a clean and professional tire bay; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
  • Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office for tire needs.
  • Maintain accurate supply inventory and utilize special-order tire programs effectively.
  • Comply with safety standards and utilize tire bay equipment properly.
  • Assist members with tire selection, verifying vehicle tire sizes.
  • Fill propane tanks as needed if certified according to DOT regulations.
  • Document tire bay scheduling and service order data accurately.
  • Follow all club policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Regular attendance is essential for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and competency with both automatic and manual vehicles required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn required.
  • Prior tire installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to complete Michelin training levels one through four within the first three months of employment.
  • Must be capable of lifting over 30 pounds with assistance.

Environmental Job Conditions:

  • Exposure to diverse indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • A significant part of this role involves standing and moving continuously on hard surfaces.
  • Physical activity includes bending, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Lifting and moving heavy or awkward items may exceed 30 pounds with assistance.
  • This position is often performed in proximity to moving vehicles and machinery, often requiring shouting for communication.

Compensation range starts from $17.50.
