B2B PRO SALES REPRESENTATIVE, FLOORING
Location: Columbus, OH (field-based with some office time)
Territory: Columbus to Dayton and surrounding Metro areas
Employment Type: Full-time, in person
Compensation: Base $35,000 to $40,000 plus uncapped commission paid as a percentage of revenue. Typical additional earnings $30,000 to $80,000 based on performance.

WHY THIS ROLE Certified Flooring Installation (CFI) is growing our Pro Sales team in Ohio. This role is built for someone who likes being in the field, opening doors, building relationships, and turning conversations into long-term accounts. You will call on flooring installers and contractors, home flippers, developers, restoration companies, and other trade partners throughout the Columbus to Dayton market.
You will sell both flooring materials and installation services, typically together. If you are comfortable building pipeline from scratch and you like a commission plan that rewards activity and results, this role is a strong fit.
WHAT YOU WILL DO - Prospect, develop, and grow a book of business across the Columbus to Dayton territory
- Build relationships with flooring installers, contractors, flippers, developers, and restoration companies
- Generate opportunities through field activity, store visits, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Quote and sell flooring materials and installation services, primarily as a combined package
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth handoff from sale to scheduling and installation
- Track pipeline, activity, and next steps in the CRM
- Represent the company professionally at stores, job sites, and partner locations
WHAT YOU BRING - B2B sales experience in flooring, construction, remodeling, restoration, or related trades
- Hunter mindset, you are comfortable creating your own pipeline and staying active daily
- Ability to speak credibly about flooring products and installation, practical flooring knowledge is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, consistent follow-through, and comfort managing multiple opportunities at once
- Basic CRM proficiency and comfort with email, quoting, and routine reporting
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and comfort driving the territory
WORK SETUP AND SCHEDULE - Mostly in the field across the territory, with some time in the office as needed
- Full-time. Expect a standard weekday schedule with flexibility based on contractor and partner needs
- Some early mornings or late-day calls may happen based on job site and contractor schedules
