Overview

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Ohio Construction Inspection Lead to join our Infrastructure Construction Inspection Team at our Columbus, OH office.

Your Impact

CHA provides a full complement of construction administration and inspection services to monitor, record and deliver successful projects. Our inspection team includes seasoned certified construction professionals cross-trained in design, risk management, and health and safety compliance to underscore our commitment to stringent standards. Our team understands that small details can have a big impact.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction inspection activities on large projects, coordinate project efforts, and maintain project documentation and records.
  • Supervise construction inspection field staff and collaborate with the project designer as necessary.
  • Chair all project-related meetings and review contractor pay quantities for accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred
  • NICET Level IV certification or PE preferred
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Minimum of 15 years of construction inspection experience; experience with Ohio DOT required
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred
  • Able to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret clients contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of and reinforces the companys and clients standards
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge about the construction industry
  • Must be able to navigate through a construction site
Salary

$42.30 - $53.84
