Description

Safe and Secure Homecare is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Habilitation Specialist. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $16 to $18 per hour.

**Job Overview:**

As a Habilitation Specialist, you will play a key role in creating wonderful experiences for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). You will provide support and guidance to help our clients live fulfilling and independent lives.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement individualized habilitation plans for clients

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with I/DD

- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks

- Facilitate social activities and community outings to promote socialization and independence

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the overall well-being of clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and goals

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience working with individuals with I/DD preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
