Chromatography Service Specialist, Ohio

Description:

Do you have experience troubleshooting chromatography equipment? Do you enjoy engaging with others? In this role, you get to travel to a diverse group of labs, fabs and plants; meet different people, and see various instrument applications at work.

Overview

This position will allow you to apply your laboratory instrument/chemistry knowledge and technical experience to solve customers' instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.

Ideal Location: Home office-based in the Columbus, OH areaIn This Role You Will:

  • Travel to client sites in the area to perform on-site service
  • Perform simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training, and more on company instruments
  • Act as a specialist for all chromatography instruments used in all applications, including semiconductor, process analytical and lab
Ideal Skills/Knowledge:
  • BS higher preferred in chemistry or related STEM studies.
  • 3 + years experience working hands-on with analytical instruments or process equipment
  • exposure to chromatography (HPLC, GC or IC) a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel regionally (approx. 50%)
  • Valid driver license
