Under administrative direction, is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of major recreational programs and activities for a section of the Recreation and Parks Department; performs related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in recreation administration or a closely related field, including one (1) year of supervisory experience. Substitution(s): Two (2) years of additional experience in recreation administration or a closely related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required education on a year-for-year basis. A master's degree in public administration, recreation administration, or a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required non-supervisory experience. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
