As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine interior and exterior rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail setting.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating customer disputes and coordinating with store management and local law enforcement as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances and exits, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards, and complete accurate written reports and incident documentation per Allied Universal requirements and location procedures.

+ Assist with access control and loss prevention support by observing merchandise movement, checking doors and gates, and providing a professional presence during high-traffic periods and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
