General Laborer

Join a team dedicated to manufacturing high-quality re-bar, structural beams, and staircase railings. You will assist in assembling plenums made from sheet metal, which are used in data centers to efficiently transfer heat. Your role will involve supporting welders by utilizing hand tools and power tools, contributing to the production of these important components.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders in assembling plenums using hand tools and power tools.
• Utilize basic hand tools and drills for assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
• Follow blueprints and instructions for precise assembly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, especially with sheet metal roofing and siding.
• Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with production and manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, sit, and crouch for extended periods.
• Experience in assembly and working with sheet metal is a plus.

Work Environment

Initially, you will work outdoors in the yard until a full-time space is secured for this new contract. The work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential 10-12 hour shifts for the first four weeks, Monday through Friday, while aiming to avoid Saturday work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
