Pre-Service Training: All new candidates hired to the Department of Youth Services must complete three (3) weeks of paid pre-service training at our Training Academy in Orient, Ohio. The training is Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Travel, lodging, and meals are provided.
