Position Summary
The Production Operator (Wire Bender) is responsible for producing high-quality wire components by operating bending equipment and related machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow precise measurements, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The Wire Bender will also support production needs by cross-training in additional Level 1 positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate wire-bending equipment to form wire components according to specifications.
• Use a measuring tape accurately to verify dimensions and ensure product quality.
• Operate additional equipment including spot welders, presses, and hot wire cutters.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Cross-train and assist in all Level 1 production roles as needed.
• Support production goals by working occasional overtime when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.

This is a temp-to-direct, full-time position, hiring immediately. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 3 PM and Friday, 6 AM to 12 PM. Pay is $18.89 per hour. If hired on direct, the company offers a full benefits package.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to read and use a measuring tape with accuracy.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as spot welders, presses, or cutting tools preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must wear required PPE for all assigned tasks.
• Availability for occasional overtime.
