The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC)invites applications for aReporting and AnalyticsConsultantpositionin the Population Health and Quality Improvement Analytics section.A successful applicant willengage in applied health services, quality improvement, andpopulation health research in a project-based, team setting.
Reporting and AnalyticsConsultantsare expected to perform technical tasksandcontribute toprojectleadershipand administration, including as co-Principal Investigator or Principal Investigator. They are expected to complete work independently onhighly complextasks.Reporting and AnalyticsConsultantsmay work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities.
Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following:(1) leading highly complexdata orresearch tasks; (2)independently determining themethod(s) for completion of new projects (may receive guidance on overall project objectives); (3)developing new practices, processes, metrics or models,and providingsolutions which may set precedent for the organization; (4)applying developed subject matter and methodological knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects; (5) providing guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues; (6) conveyingdifficult, complex or sensitive information, and facilitating productive dialogue among project stakeholders; (7)reviewingwork products from subcontractorsor junior researchers; (8)designingand executinglinkage strategies for connecting administrative datasets.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelorsdegree in a relevant field or equivalent isrequired.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of6years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or4years of relevant experience with an advanceddegreein a relevant field of studyisrequired.Requires successful completion of a background check.Selectedcandidatemay be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated usage ofR,SAS, orSQLfor datapreparation andanalysis.R coding experienceispreferred.Experienceprocessing and analyzing electronic health record data. Experienceinquality improvement or population health research.
