We are currently looking for an experienced maintenance tech to work at our Shrock Park and Village West properties. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Address and resolve maintenance issues, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair or replacement. Complete work orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency requests promptly and effectively, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the safety and comfort of residents.
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the property by performing landscaping, groundskeeping, and snow removal duties when needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that necessary items are always in stock.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and service requests in Entrata.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, property management, and leasing staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and a high level of resident satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in property maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • Strong communication skills
