Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Histology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Shift: 23:00-07:30 Unit Details: We are seeking a skilled Travel Histology Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities will include: • Routine paraffin embedding • Microtomy and sectioning for routine H&E staining • Immunohistochemistry (IHCs) and molecular procedures • Processing information and office orders • Minimal special staining and processing duties Requirements: • Certification: ASCP-HT (American Society for Clinical Pathology - Histotechnician) • Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in histology, with specific expertise in microtomy and paraffin embedding. Additional Information: • Pre-approved time off must be submitted before confirmation of the contract. • This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within the scheduled hours. -Some OT is offered but not mandatory.
