The QA Lead will be a key member of the QA team responsible for testing our SaaS applications. This role requires a hands-on leader who combines deep technical expertise in test automation with proven experience implementing AI-driven testing solutions.
What You Will do

  • Lead a team of QA specializing in manual testing, API tests, test automation and performance tests. Leverage AI to achieve better results.
  • Lead the implementation of automation test frameworks
  • Follow best practices; including a variety of different testing protocols
  • Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
  • Review, evaluate, and document existing testing code, processes and contributors
  • Create and oversee plans for both automated and manual regression testing
  • Design, build, maintain test frameworks for performance testing
  • Manage multiple priorities across many products and in time-sensitive situations
  • Self-manage; Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done
  • Ensure end to end QA/Staging/UAT testing initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-team test execution - act as central communication point between business and technology
  • Monitor execution status and escalate risk areas as needed
  • Ensure fast resolution of issues and queries raised by the test team
  • Monitor each team's defect status and backlog - escalate risk areas as appropriate
  • Coordinate with the environment management team and the Technology Environment Support team for environment issues
  • Track status and completion of test deliverables across teams for an initiative or group of initiatives
  • Correlate areas of focus, and prioritize testing methodologies based on prior areas of concern, and areas of current/future development focus
  • Manage individual QA team resource allocations to projects, provide leadership/guidance of project level activities; career development activities
  • Provide input to the estimation process for the testing and reporting effort
  • Lead the development of test strategy and test plan documents for upcoming projects
  • Identify and assess testing risks using a systematic approach
  • Maintain regression test suites and other test case repositories
  • Advise QA Manager/Project Manager regarding overall quality of project. Raise outstanding issues through established channels
  • Mentor junior software quality engineers
  • Coach team members on quality assurance approaches, recommending appropriate QA practices to support product definition, design, development, and launch
  • Lead the implementation and demonstration of AI-powered testing tools and methodologies within the SDLC
  • Stay current with emerging AI testing technologies and drive their adoption within the organization

What You Have
  • Master's degree Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline
  • At least 10 years with experience testing and developing software, including installation, test automation, and test plan documentation.
  • Proven experience as a Team lead
  • Experience working on HCM products
  • Experience with SoapUI, web services, XML, SQL
  • Experience with:
    1. Playwright/Selenium/Cypress - automation, including developing frameworks
    2. Jmeter - performance/scalability testing tools
    3. Test Rail - test plan and test case development, management, and reporting
  • Experience with developing in Java, C#, or C++
  • Experience with CM, build management and continuous integration.
  • Experience with the Performance testing design, implementation and reporting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
