Your Role

The AVP of Distribution Operations serves as a strategic, influential leader within VS&Co, responsible for driving operational excellence across a highly mechanized, high-volume distribution network. This role ensures best-in-class customer service, seamless brand and vendor partnership, and disciplined performance against financial and service goals. As the primary contact for key internal and external partners, the AVP must demonstrate strong influence, sound decision-making, and the ability to lead through change while developing the next generation of operational talent.

Your Impact

  • Deliver superior customer service across all distribution center operations.
  • Provide daily leadership to a highly mechanized, large-scale operation.
  • Consistently achieve performance targets aligned with financial budgets and service commitments.
  • Communicate effectively with brand partners and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and execution of critical business initiatives.
  • Set clear, challenging objectives for leaders; coach, support, and develop talent to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Model a growth mindset and cast a positive shadow across the organization.
  • Partner with the broader VS Logistics team on joint projects, shared goals, and end-to-end operational solutions.
  • Continue to expand personal capabilities to prepare for greater responsibility.

Influence & Alignment

  • Influence and gain alignment across multiple levels, including cross-functional partners, brand leadership, and third-party providers.
  • Independently lead solution discussions with executive-level partners; shape strategic decisions and drive consensus.
  • Communicate persuasively and adapt messaging to stakeholder needs while guiding teams toward shared outcomes.
  • Contribute meaningfully to broader business strategy and solution development.

Decision-Making

  • Exercise significant independent decision-making in daily operations and long-term initiatives with minimal oversight.

  • Utilize strong collaboration, communication, listening, and negotiation skills to align solutions.
  • Lead third-party partners through critical operational decisions.

Minimum Salary: $178,000.00 Maximum Salary: $252,315.00

VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, logistics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of broad distribution management experience within high-volume, fast-paced, or seasonal businesses.
  • Experience leading large, multi-shift operations with complex mechanics and automation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills grounded in humility.
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships.
  • Strategic risk-taker with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Consistent, accountable, and detail-oriented.
  • Innovative, fact-based problem solver.
