Food Production Associate 1 The Ohio State University, Center for Lake Erie Area Research (Stone Laboratory, 0118), Put?In?Bay, Ohio.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Dining, Residence and Sustainability Lead and Laboratory Manager, you will assist with and coordinate all aspects of dining hall operations and housekeeping for residence halls. Duties include menu and food preparation for groups of up to 100 individuals, managing food inventory, adhering to food handling and safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness of dining halls, sweeping, dusting, cleaning restrooms and bedding/linens as needed, providing exceptional customer service to guests (students, faculty, researchers, staff and visitors), attending meetings, providing updates and reports to the Dining & Residence Lead, and communicating operational issues. You will serve as a key member of an integrated team. The position is seasonal, lasting from early spring to late fall with flexible start and end dates.

Qualifications

Minimum required: High School diploma or GED. 0 years of relevant experience required; 0?2 years preferred. This is a seasonal position.
